Description
Acer campestre Elsrijk is a useful cultivar of Field Maple which has all of the qualities of its parent, Acer campestre with a more regular shape.
Acer campestre Elsrijk is tolerant of most soil types, although it does do best in rich, well drained soils. As with many of the native trees, it is a tough contender and will tolerate drought, air pollution and soil compaction.
This tree reaches a medium to large size at maturity and is suited as a street tree in urban environments.
