Description

Cornus nuttallii is a conical deciduous tree with mid-green oval leaves which turn red in Autumn. Also known as the mountain dogwood. In late spring, Cornus nuttallii produces a display of small purple and green flowers in dense flowerheads, which are surrounded by 4-6 white or pink-tinged bracts. Spherical orange-red fruits follow.
