Description
Cupressus sempervirens is a vigorous evergreen, with a thin and conical shape, reaching heights of perhaps 10m tall in maturity. Also known as the Italian cypress it is highly valued for the ascending, spire-like effect it can bring to a restricted space, or a space where shade is not desired. Our accompanying picture is the variety ‘Pyramidalis’ which is one of the most popular varieties of this cultivar.
This hardy conifer requires a sheltered site in sun or partial shade.
