Description
Fraxinus excelsior ‘Pendula’ is a medium-sized deciduous tree forming an umbrella-shaped crown of pendulous branches arching to the ground. This weeping ash has pinnate leaves that turn yellow in the autumn.
We are currently unable to import Ash trees due to ash dieback disease. The disease is caused by the fungus Chalara fraxinea and leads to leaf loss and for some death. Ash dieback is now present in most parts of England, although the severity of the disease varies locally.
