Description
Ginkgo biloba or the Maidenhair Tree has fan-shaped leaves, with two leaf blades. The leaves emerge bright green in the spring whilst autumn seems them turn a clear and bright yellow.
Ginkgo biloba forms a large specimen with a conical shape at maturity.
It is extremely hardy to air pollution, reflected heat and light and is a great choice for for parks and avenues, particularly when in autumn the leaves turn a beautiful yellow colour.
Mature female plants produce fruits which bear a distinctive smell.
