Description
Juniperus virginiana Canaertii also known as Pencil Cedar or Eastern red cedar is an asymmetrical upward-reaching small evergreen conifer with dark green foliage set on picturesque twigs.
Its grey to reddish-brown bark exfoliates in thin strips on mature trees and its heartwood is light brown and aromatic.
Size: Height: 5-7m and width around 2-4m
Easily grown in well-drained soils in full sun; it tolerates a wide range of soils and growing conditions.
