Description
Photinia x fraseri ‘Robusta Compacta’ differs from the species in that it has a tighter and more compact habit than the ubiquitous Photinia ‘Red Robin’, it is the perfect Photinia for hedging. It has all the leaf colouration of ‘Red Robin’ combined with the compact growth of ‘Compacta’. Forms a very dense shrub with much interest in the spring.
This robust evergreen shrub has delightful red young foliage and heads of long lasting creamy flowers in late spring. Perfectly hardy for most UK gardens, often looking best in sunnier spots.
