Description
Sorbus aria ‘Majestica’ is a medium-sized Whitebeam tree with large leaves which are glossy dark green on top and whitish underneath. It has clusters of creamy-white white scented flowers followed by red berries in the autumn. A good choice for parks, streets and also urban gardens as it requires little maintenance. Bees also love the flowers.
Ideal conditions – Sun to partial shade. Frost hardy and wind resistant. It is generally undemanding and adaptable to soil conditions.
Maximum height 8-12 metres ultimate height over 20-50 years. With an eventual spread of 4-8 metres
Thrives in most soils including chalk.
Ideal tree for parks, streets, gardens and avenues.
