Sorbus aria or whitebeam is a small upright deciduous tree with broad leaves which are dark green on top and white underneath. It has white scented flowers followed by red fruits in the Autumn.
A good choice for parks, streets and also urban gardens as it requires little maintenance.
Sorbus aria is generally undemanding, and is frost hardy and wind resistant, adaptable to any soil conditions.
