Description
Tilia cordata ‘Rancho’ is a neat tree with branches that arch upwards, forming a conical shape at maturity. The heart-shaped leaves are dark green on the surface and light green on the underside, turning golden yellow in autumn. The creamy coloured, fragrant flowers appear in July and are a welcome addition to this attractive variety of native tree. Like all Lime trees, small leaved lime Rancho performs well on most soils and will tolerate clay and is a great choice for avenues.
